The Annual Town Council Meeting is the first meeting of the Council year of which the first piece of business is the election of the Chairperson/Mayor and Vice-Chairperson; committees and their members are agreed, and council policies are agreed and approved. In effect the Council is ‘stood down’ and reconstituted.
The date of next years Annual Town Council Meeting is Tuesday 20 May at 19:30 at The Town Hall. Further information will follow in due course.
All meetings are streamed live via Microsoft Teams and members of the public can attend meetings virtually. The link for this meeting will be published here on the day of the meeting.
